ACY (Nylon Air Covered Yarn) has unique characteristics in terms of moisture absorption and breathability compared to other synthetic fibers.
From the perspective of moisture absorption, although ACY's moisture absorption performance is not as good as pure cotton, compared to other synthetic fibers such as polyester, its moisture absorption performance is better. Specifically, nylon fibers themselves have a certain degree of moisture absorption, and ACY, due to its special structure, may enhance this moisture absorption performance to a certain extent. This means that clothing made of ACY can better absorb and discharge sweat when worn, improving wearing comfort.
Secondly, in terms of breathability, ACY also exhibits good performance. Although its breathability may not be as good as some natural fibers such as cotton and linen, ACY has relatively better breathability compared to other synthetic fibers. This is mainly due to the breathability of nylon fibers themselves and the special structure of ACY, which allows air to pass through the fiber layer more smoothly, thereby maintaining air circulation inside the clothing and reducing stuffiness.
Specifically, compared to polyester, ACY has superior moisture absorption and breathability. Polyester has extremely poor moisture absorption, and its woven fabric is prone to stuffiness and lack of breathability when worn on the body. ACY can to some extent overcome these problems and provide a better wearing experience.
